Missing dialup numbers
What’s up with these ISPs selling prepaid internet cards? They do not bother to publish their dialup numbers on their website. Yes I know they include it and the manual together with the card. My problem is that I have a bad habit of losing those papers. Their problem is that they have no list of their access numbers on their website.
Again, what happened to me is another good example of blunders end users commit. I always thought their website is the best source of information about their product. But hell no. Instead what you get is a big image based website promoting the card.
One offender is PLDTVibe. I am non-pldt user. I searched for the non-pldt dialup numbers in their site. I found none. Then I tried Bayantel’s Blast internet card. Same thing. They have more information about XLR8 than the access numbers and/or the configuration manual.
Now you may think that it’s my fault in the first place. Yes, it was. But then end users are mostly like me. And to think I consider myself above average user. Damn, if only I have a budget for broadband.
Is this another ploy of these ISPs to make me buy another card just to know the access numbers? I think so. Greed, greed, greed.

I strongly agree to that. They have no details about BLAST Provincial. I am in Laguna. And to think that their Laguna dialup number says “Sorry, all circuits are busy now, please try your call later” makes me regret buying this card. My P100 has been wasted. And they have no updates if they have alternate dialup numbers for it. Is this what they call “No frills, no nonsense” and “satisfaction guaranteed”?

Iv been using Blast prepaid internet card for almost 3 years now here in Legazpi City and I love its 15 day offpeak feature its indeed very practical. However, their connection sucked lately, it keep on kicking me out after logging in for 2 plus minutes. Its very annoying. I emailed their tech support and all I got is the usual basic instructions that I have done over and over again but to no avail. Its their connection that has problems coz i been using another local internet card and its perfectly working. I just hope they will put an advisory on ther site if a technical problem has occured.

get off to these hooks! don’t you know that the best connection to this date is the wi-fi? other countries such as britain, france, saudi-arabia, etc. were in haste to activate such technology on their area, but here in our provinces we already enjoying wireless fidelity service from smart.. now hold on i did not mean to advertise the name but boy you’ll gonna love it with cable tv similarity payment but somewhat expensive.. yet you better scrutinize their toc’s (terms of service) so you won’t get disappointed because once you apply for it.. you have just applied a one year contract of connection. man that shrewd.. i can guarantee your satisfaction anyhow once you get connected. why i’m telling you this.. you can get rid your telephone along with its expensive billing, you won’t need it anymore.. PEACE!! -pinoykid of sorsogon-

No dude. If you are doing serious stuff besides surfing in the internet, you’ll definitely need a wired connection.
