Who will win in Amazing Race 8: Family Edition
There is no way of telling who will definitely win the Season 8 of the Amazing Race dubbed as The Family Edition. Previous race winners was rumored (and was proven) to have been predicted by the outcome of wagers in an online gambling site. But how do these bettors knew where to place their money? My answer is I don’t know but I can tell you how I have chosen my winning team.
Each one of us has his/her own favorite team. I based my choice on the team members personality, physical and mental ability in tackling challenges. I do not cheer for arrogant teams. Ironically, I wanted the two ex-Survivor contestants, Rob and Amber, to win even though Rob is somewhat an airhead. Yes, I did. Maybe because Rob knows how to ask directions. Going to unfamiliar places around the world, asking directions and getting a desirable result is one of the key to winning. Rob is also a negotiator. I was amazed every time he manages to talk his way in airport terminals and getting the best flight route.
But there is this something called luck. I guess Uchenna and Joyce was just very lucky. With no money on the last leg and eventually winning the race and the $1 million prize, I’d say it was pure luck. But, then, prediction of the online gambling sites proves otherwise. Or is there something that we, the viewers, do not know.
