Habari
Most of the people who got me into Wordpress early on the popular blogging tool’s life are developing now Habari. Owen Winkler, Chris J. Davis and Michael Heilenman got me hooked on developing on wordpress.
I created my first plugin reading Owen’s blog. My archive plugin was an idea I got from Chris and Shawn. Contrary to what other people say, I find Michael’s Kubrick them easier to work with and extend. All my previous themes and those I have created for my clients was based on Kubrick. I have a lot of respect for these guys. They’re really brilliant as with rest of the Habari team.
I see a lot of potential with Habari. I have only seen the code today from SVN. It’s time to get familiar with a new set of codes again.

Funny that you should mention Habari now.
I encountered Habari after looking through Michael Heilenman’s blog with the original intention of finding out a fix for putting up asides on the K2 theme sidebar while using WordPress Widgets. So, being the easily-waylaid surfer I am, I got sidetracked. A couple “ooh’s” and “aah’s” later, I returned to looking for a fix. Found one, which was a suggestion by someone on the K2 support forum to use your very own Sideblog Plugin. Much to my chagrin, as I scrolled down your sidebar to preview the Sideblog in action, I saw your Pinoy Top Blogs button. “, she’s Pinay and a techie too,” I thought after that.
It’s funny how the tendency for the world to work in mysterious ways is reflected even on the Internet.

Fixed. Didn’t notice the HTML, should have paid more attention to the preview box.

Double fixed. Sorry, only caught your About page now.
Also interesting to note is that the Preview Comment feature of your blog will show text/font changes using <i/b/u/em/span “style=STYLE;”> tags, however the CSS doesn’t show up in the actual posted comment upon submission. Just an observation.

I’m really glad they got you started on it! The sideblog plugin of yours is so useful, I would be lost without it.
Thanks,
Todd
