spent the whole saturday and sunday playing guitar and garage band. it works for now even without an audio/midi box. i just need a headset monitor to eliminate feedback. macbook’s external speaker can’t keep up anyway.

has been reading and playing guitar more lately than coding. wrote Plurk Later to help me maintain my karma. out of that project, a ruby plurk gem was extracted. with that project launched and the current book finished, i am set to go back to coding a webapp left hanging for a long time.

my 2009 is so fucked up i can’t get myself to finish writing a digest of the year. it was the worst year of my life yet. i hope to not see it again. want it zapped from my memory. not everything, though. i found new great friends. that alone was enough to get me through the hellish year.

hell must have frozen over. i found microsoft’s csharp interesting these past few days. i’m using the open source implementation Mono, of course.

Pencil for Firefox

Blown away by Pencil. Pencil is a wireframing and mockup tool implemented as a firefox add-on. It’s not as sleek as other commercial products but this one gets the job done for web developers who needs to do the design themselves.
