Nikon D90 on my wishlist
was tempted to buy a D90 body for myself earlier while shopping for my wife’s dslr. the thought that i won’t be shooting photos as often as before stopped me from pulling the plastic off my wallet.

just bought a new Nikon D5000 for my wife. I was thinking of getting her a D3000 but the video capability of the D5000 had me. The video and the 55-200 mm lens would be great for taking videos and photos of kids during school events where parents are no longer allowed to go near the stage.
lomo effect
I haven’t tried lomography and probably won’t any time soon. This photo was not taken with a lomo camera. I took it using my D40. This was an uninteresting photo straight out of the camera. I was playing with the effects in iPhoto when I notice it looked a lot like the lomo photos I saw in flickr and zooomr.
