Sideblog Donation
Felt good for receiving a donation for sideblog. That sunday spent on updating the code didn’t go to waste after all. Donation or no donation, sideblog would still be updated. I’m still using it primarily on this blog. Thanks Dave 
WP app iPhone
upgraded my iPhone to OS 3.0 for it’s copy-paste and tethering feature. problem is that WP App for iPhone won’t let me select a category which is the only way to post asides.
updated sideblog for WP 2.8
In the process of committing updated code for WP 2.8 to wordpress subversion repository. Due to changes in rendering multiple widgets, version 6.0 of Sideblog breaks backward compatibility. Additional work can be done to make it so but in the meantime to address the needs of those who have already upgraded their wordpress to 2.8, this version will suffice.
To upgrade, I suggest deactivating the plugin and go through the usual installation process. I have not thoroughly tested (as usual) the code, so any bugs please leave a comment.
sideblog on wp 2.8: broken
i guess it’s time to look at the source code once again. i used to be excited every time WP have an update. now, i loathe them. seriously thinking of giving up on sideblog. anybody still using this thing?
Is your sideblog working on WP 2.5?
If they don’t download the latest version (5.0) from the Wordpress repository. If you don’t your post ordering will be inverted. As a bonus you can put youtube and metacafe videos in your asides.
Now using Wordpress 2.5
Just upgraded to Wordpress 2.5. The upgrade process went smoothly. All my plugins are still working except for Sideblog which was disabled in the process. I just had to activate it, add it to the template and we’re in business again.

Joost rocks. This is TV reinvented. Something that lets you choose the shows but gives you something else when you don’t. Currently watching cult classic comedy The Lucy Show.
